We have Josh Downs as WR #81 at his position, priced at $1 against a market of $7. These figures are priced for a standard 12-team, $200 league. Your league’s size, budget and starting slots move them, sometimes a lot.
The projection is a full-season PPR total from our own model. The auction value is what that projection is worth in a 12-team, $200 league once every other draftable player is priced against the same budget — which is why it is not simply a ranking. The market price and ADP are where the field is actually taking him. The gap between our value and the market is the only part that is actionable: it is the discount, or the premium, you are paying on draft day.
